Choose Your Training Path
Level 1 — Foundation
8 weeks. A practical introduction to community health, mental health awareness, first aid, hygiene, nutrition, prevention and community response. Open to ages 13+.
Level 2 — Intermediate
1 year. Develop deeper practical skills, participate in community activities and begin taking greater responsibility in outreach and support.
Level 3 — Advanced
2 years. Advanced learning for people preparing for community health leadership, mentoring and program facilitation roles.

Learning That Leads to Community Action
CHMHFA training is designed to combine knowledge with practical application. Participants learn how to recognize concerns, communicate safely, provide support within their training and know when and how to refer someone to appropriate professional services.
