Gift Matinanga
Chairperson | Founder – AVET
Gift Matinanga is an apostolic leader and systems strategist with a strong foundation in theology, leadership, and organizational development. He holds a Diploma in Ministry, a Professional Diploma in Behavioral Services, a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies, and an MBA in Business Management. His academic background reflects a structured integration of spiritual leadership, human behavior, and enterprise systems.
He is professionally certified in globally recognized frameworks, including ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Lead Implementor, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems Lead Implementor, and ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Management Associate. He is also an Accredited Scrum Master and Trainer, as well as a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB™), demonstrating expertise in quality management, process improvement, and data-driven organizational systems.
As Chairperson of Apostolic Voice Education Trust (AVET), he provides governance, strategic oversight, and institutional direction for programs including the Community Mental Health & First Aid (CMHFA) initiative, ensuring alignment with standards of excellence, scalability, and measurable impact.
Chikonde Mumbi
Program Director | CMHFA
Chikonde Mumbi is a Public Health Specialist with advanced training in clinical medical sciences and extensive experience in disease surveillance, public health research, and health systems management. He holds a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, with strong grounding in epidemiology, research methodology, and health information systems.
He has practical expertise in outbreak investigation, facility health information systems analysis, and quantitative research, with a strong focus on improving data quality and evidence-based decision-making. His work integrates public health programming with operational health system strengthening at facility and community levels.
As Program Director for CMHFA, he provides strategic and operational oversight for program implementation, ensuring effective coordination of mental health and first aid initiatives across community systems, health facilities, and partner networks.
Patience Mwanza
Program Lead | CMHFA
Patience Mwanza is a Public Health Scientist and Clinical Medical Sciences (Psychiatry) practitioner with over 15 years of experience in hospital and community health systems. She holds qualifications in clinical medical sciences with specialization in psychiatry, alongside training in public health practice.
Her expertise spans mental health programming, maternal and child health, tuberculosis, HIV services, and community health systems strengthening. She has extensive experience in training, mentorship, program coordination, and the design of community-based health interventions.
As Program Lead for CMHFA, she provides technical leadership in mental health programming, training systems, and community resilience initiatives, ensuring evidence-based and people-centered implementation.
Lushomo Joshua Munsanje
Vice Program Lead | CMHFA
Lushomo Munsanje is a Public Health professional with a degree in Public Health and strong specialization in health systems strengthening, data analytics, and digital health innovation. He has technical expertise in data-driven program management and health information systems.
He is proficient in analytical and visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau, supporting program monitoring, evaluation, and performance tracking. His work focuses on translating health data into actionable insights for improved decision-making.
As Vice Program Lead for CMHFA, he supports program coordination, data analysis, community outreach systems, and strategic expansion of mental health interventions across implementation sites.
Shamazubaula Stephen F.
Director – Monitoring & Evaluation | CMHFA
Shamazubaula Stephen F. is a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist with over 7 years of experience across health, agriculture, humanitarian, and development sectors. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), a Bachelor’s degree in Demography and Economics, and is currently pursuing advanced studies in population and data science.
He is highly skilled in statistical analysis, database management, and digital data systems including Stata, SPSS, R, DHIS2, KoboCollect, and Power BI. His work focuses on strengthening data systems, evaluation frameworks, and evidence-based program improvement.
As Director of Monitoring and Evaluation for CMHFA, he leads data systems, performance tracking, and program evaluation to ensure accountability, impact measurement, and continuous improvement.
Musoka Kazenene
Director – Community Engagement & Partnerships | CMHFA
Musoka Kazenene is a community development and social mobilization specialist with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and large-scale public health programming. She holds a Master’s Degree in Transformative Community Development.
She has led major USAID-funded initiatives, including CHEKUP II and DISCOVER-Health, focusing on community systems strengthening, multi-sector coordination, and health program implementation across Zambia. Her work has contributed to improved service delivery and strengthened community health structures.
As Director of Community Engagement & Partnerships for CMHFA, she leads stakeholder engagement, partnership frameworks, and community mobilization strategies to expand program reach and sustainability.
Danny Tembo
Director – Program Operations | CMHFA
Danny Tembo is a Public Health and Nursing professional with experience in HIV/TB management, adolescent health programming, and rural health service delivery. He holds qualifications in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, and Advanced HIV Nurse Practice, along with certifications in monitoring and evaluation and project management.
He has worked extensively in facility management, disease surveillance, HIV prevention programming, and community health systems implementation. His experience includes coordinating health services, supervising clinical teams, and improving service delivery outcomes in rural settings.
As Director of Program Operations for CMHFA, he oversees field implementation, health program coordination, and operational systems to ensure effective delivery of community mental health and first aid services.
